Match Report Press Report

Winchester 7 Lost to Nuffield Health 3.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 30 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Beverley Brockway, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 108 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Aidan Callaghan.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Aidan Callaghan, who over-turned a 187 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
